An up and coming city, but not what you would call an international gay hotspot! Aberdeen does lack a bit when it comes to catering exclusively for the gay clientele but in doing so you can find many bars and clubs have mixed crowd. Dubbed the "Granite City", Aberdeen is still worth a visit. Now home to University's and the Scottish oil industry you will find good nightlife here most nights of the week. Aberdeen is also the idea place to base yourself if you fancy heading North along Scotland's whisky trail or to take in some of Scotland's dramatic landscape. Connected well by train from Edinburgh, Glasgow and all of Scotland, and flights from around Europe makes Aberdeen is a perfect gateway to Northern Scotland. |
