London: a top town and a top night out. The gay scene in central London (although very mixed) does seem to be dominated by the younger, lively, party going crowd, leaving other areas around the capital to fill the void in the scene! In central London most of the action happens around Old Compton Street and it's surrounding streets in the Soho area, but gay activity can be found almost anywhere. It is not uncommon to see public displays off affection among same sex couples particularly in the Soho area, as there is little fear of assault. |
